 This particular failure mode hadn't been reported in a bug (and hadn't
 occurred to me) before, and since we're likely to fix it separately from
 the sugar-related bug, I think it makes sense to hold a different bug for
 it.

 (It's fine with me that we don't want to target this bug at Update.1,
 though.)
