 To reproduce:
 1. Boot.
 2. Open a Browse Activity.
 3. Browse to http://www.laptop.org/en/laptop/start/keyboard.shtml.
 4. Use the down-arrow and right-arrow buttons to center the image of the
 keyboard on the browser window.  (Without this step, there is no failure.)
 5. Click the View tab.
 6. Click the Zoom-In button that appears in the upper margin.
 7. Observe that the Browse Activity dies immediately.

 The least little bit of horizontal and/or vertical scrolling is sufficient
 to cause the problem.
