 I think that these semantic labels are really interesting, and might
 warrant a keyboard shortcut (may I suggest something like ctrl-> and
 ctrl-< ?).  However, I don't think they have a place in handheld mode, as
 there is a fairly limited button set and these will only serve in specific
 contexts.  Feel free to open another ticket for this idea, though.
