Comment:

 We do have "keep a copy" (see #3063).  In any case, we're working on
 getting versions into place, which eradicates this breed of problems.  It
 is true that there is no "revert" at present, and the only way to prevent
 new changes from overwriting the existing object is to keep a copy, which
 will save it as a new object in the Journal.  That's admittedly strange,
 but it is temporary; again, reverting will be accomplished simply by
 opening a previous version.
