 In light of the likely resolution of #5760, it is probably a good idea to
 resolve this issue one way or another.  If it doesn't work to implement a
 "move clipping", then at least the drag-and-drop should do nothing,
 because the current implementation (dragging causes a copy to be placed at
 the top of the stack) is going to cause old (useful) objects to fall off
 the bottom of the clipboard, replacing them with redundant information.
