 The existing situation has UI problems anyway.

 The downloaded bundle in the journal looks like random spam to be deleted,
 with no obviously important connection to the activity in the frame. There
 is also no way to remove pre-installed activities; this would require that
 they be pre-installed in the journal which would confuse the purpose of
 the journal.

 Fix: At the UI level, installing and uninstalling should be done by moving
 (not copying) the activity between the journal and the frame. At a lower
 level, installation means unpacking and deleting, while uninstallation
 means packing and deleting.
