 This sounds extremely close to our latest ideas around the bulletin
 boards, which are designed specifically to facilitate asynchronous sharing
 of objects around projects and groups.  I'm modifying the title to reflect
 the similarities here so we can address this ticket when we discuss
 bboards in more detail.
