 Hmm; when I boot 650 by holding down "O", then start Browse, it reports
 "The file /home/olpc/.library_pages/search/bundle_index.html cannot be
 found."  Did this wipe out the shipped 650 web library too?

 Yes, and it's missing from Build 656 as well.  What gives?

 Instead I have a /home/olpc/.library_pages/index.html, written Feb 4th.

 Perhaps this is an incompatability between Update.1 and Ship.2?
