 Update re Distance at 1CC: I cannot get two laptops running 1643 connected
 to the Channel 1 school server to see invitations. Sharing on the mesh
 works to a point: I can consistently see and launch the activity and, with
 some delay, get the "green check" to begin measuring, but both machines
 sit "waiting for partner to be ready".
