Comment:

 Another counter argument: One can 'yum install' the driver.  I can add
 this to the olpc-xo-qemu setup script, and perhaps add local caching of
 the rpm as well.  Someone else could add instructions to the wiki
 emulation docs.

 It's just not clear to me 42 kb and build hygiene is worth the obstacle of
 a workaround, and inconsistency between joyride and update.

 But to the extent consistent with current policy choice, the ticket has
 been resolved.
 I'll leave it open, because I have doubts about that choice, but I'll
 downgrade Priority, as it's no longer a blocker for my own work.  Someone
 else needs to make the final policy call, and close the ticket, or not.
