 With sugar-update-control 0.19 (Joyride 2599) the 'sugar-control-panel -g
 available_updates' command completed successfully, without causing the
 Terminal session to disappear.

 --------

 I still think it 'excessive' to have this command fetch (download)
 WikipediaEN [97 MB !!] just to check whether the latest version has been
 installed in this system.
