 Did ctl-alt-erase to restart Sugar.  Launched Terminal.  Pressed key to
 invoke 'open_search' (that's what the "question-mark" key does, to bring
 up Journal).  Waited nearly a minute without the screen changing.  Finally
 the Journal panel got shown.

 [When in this Journal panel I clicked on the top entry ("Terminal"),
 instead of returning me to the Terminal session I already had open, the
 system launched *another* Terminal session (now two all told).
