 Please understand that when I say that I have no hidden ESSID APs in or
 near my home, I mean exactly that.

 As I've pointed out, for some reason NM is finding laptops which are
 associated with an AP and thinking that they are APs with hidden ESSIDs
 (and a 0 BSSID).

 Once again, this problem does not require an AP with a hidden ESSID to be
 triggered (it may, however, be due to NM thinking that there are APs with
 hidden ESSIDs...)
