 thomas -- another tip, in case you're not aware:  the 20 minute delay can
 be changed.  you can see the current value with "xset q" -- look for
 "DPMS" in the output, and you'll see values of 1200, 1800 (i think) and
 2400.  the 2400 (seconds) is 20 minutes.

 you can change these with "xset dpms 60 90 120" for instance.
