 Just timed the interesting snippet in keyhandler.py on the xo with and
 without the patch applied.

 The old code takes an average of 1.5 sec to complete the for loop. In the
 patched version, the call to grab_keys(..) takes an avg of 0.5 sec. Values
 are very stable.
