 joyride 2301 - I saw something similar. I didn't capture logs, but it
 looked X wasn't able to keep up with the number of mouse events.
 Eventually the mouse froze. I was looking at the activities list view. I
 tried suspend and resume by pressing the power button. The helped a little
 bit. The mouse unfroze for a moment. Then it frozen again. I tried
 suspend/resume a few times, but the mouse refroze after a moment.
 Eventually I just rebooted the machine.
