Comment:

 We very much need APIs for instantiating activities in shared scopes
 anyway.  It sounds like we can kill two birds with one stone here.

 As an example of the type of interaction I refer to, consider selecting
 "Share with > Alice" from the palette of an activity in Home view.  This
 would launch the activity and ''implicitly'' share it and send Alice an
 invitation.  When joining activities, the same implicit sharing should
 occur.
