 Firefox, apparently.  It suspended during launch, as far as I can tell,
 just before the firefox window was mapped (because when I resumed the
 firefox window appeared within half a second).

 Perhaps Firefox startup is I/O bound, and ohm is not seeing that (since
 the time is being budgeted as 'system time' not 'user time'?).  Or maybe
 ohm got unlucky and happened to look at firefox in a moment when it wasn't
 too busy?

 In any case, this seems like an easy hint for sugar to give ohm, since it
 would just get slotted in the existing logic to display/hide the 'loading'
 animation.
