 I meant only XO laptops. Checked it again. You are right - it looks like a
 feature, not a bug. And yes, I didn't observe it previously - I now
 understand why.

 But, when the laptop operates on external power, why is this "feature"
 needed? And what if some other device (a stick, etc.) is attached? I
 think, if it's needed, it ought be switched on/off by the user.

 BTW, in my Sony laptop (as in any other Windows machine), the power to the
 USB device is turned off only if the user allows the machine to
 "hibernate" - which, I believe, isn't equial to XO's "suspend".

 We need to discuss this "feature". I will leave this ticket open for now.
