Comment:

 Patch looks reasonable, but (a) 'Later' is very misleading, since we're
 never going to check again, and (b) it's not clear from the dialog how to
 do this manually if I click 'Later' or 'Cancel'.

 I suggest leaving the 'Later' button and adding a 'Cancel' or 'Don't ask
 me again' button.  We should leave the ~/.sugar-update file in place until
 either "Check Now" or "Don't ask me again" is clicked.  This will ensure
 that the dialog will appear "later" (on the next boot) if you click the
 "Later" button, which addresses (a) and mitigates (b), since hopefully you
 won't click "Don't ask me again" unless you either already know how to do
 this manually or really don't care about updates.
