Comment:

 Recent discussion in the mailing list [1] indicates why this might still
 be a blocker.  In some circumstances, the Journal entries presently
 reorder themselves, which can easily result in inadvertent deletion of
 one's data, without any confirmation at all.  This sounds like a problem
 to me, and we do absolutely need confirmation anyway.

 I believe the reason we didn't have this before is because we didn't have
 non-modal alerts before; now that we do, there's no good excuse (apart
 from the time in the release cycle we noticed it) for leaving this out.
 (It can also make cleanup a bit more frustrating without the multiple
 selection behaviors implemented...that's a big tradeoff to consider.)
