 Ricardo,

 As Ashish mentions, there is an API in place for controlling the beaconing
 frequency:

 iwpriv msh0 bcn_control arg1 arg2

 arg1: 0 to disable mesh beaconing, 1 to enable.
 arg2: beaconing interval in ms, value should be between 20 and 1000 ms.
 }}}

 This should probably be configured by the [http://wiki.laptop.org/go/MAD
 Mesh Adaptation Daemon ]?
