#7841: Replace CP auto-launch (software update) with non-modal alert

 As discussed on the lists and IRC, I'm fine with tossing up a non-modal
 alert at boot which prompts the user to update right away, with a button
 which reveals the
 software update control panel module, but I'm ''not'' OK with anything
 which, unbeknownst to the user, flits them away to some other part of
 the system without his/her consent.

 Here's some background and discussion:
 http://lists.laptop.org/pipermail/sugar/2008-August/007675.html

 We already have support for non-modal alerts built into the Home view (it
 was added for registration confirmation), so this shouldn't be hard to
 add.  We probably want:

  * '''Title:''' "Software Update"
  * '''Message:''' "Update your activities to ensure compatibility with
 your new software"
  * '''Buttons:''' "Later" (dialog-cancel) "Check now" (dialog-accept).

 I'm open to better phrasing for the message. I don't know if we have
 support for icons in the alert API yet; if so, toss the software update
 module icon in there.
