Comment:

 Eben, we clearly need to notify the user that it is important to update
 activities so that people with irregular internet access who update are
 not stranded. We also need to teach the user how to get to the control
 panel, which is presently non-discoverable. We respect your request that
 the updater itself not autostart, but we need to overcome these UI
 hurdles. Please design something appropriate.
