Through Joyride 1848, when I booted my G1G1 it connected (as an IPv4
interface) to my local LAN through an USB-ethernet adapter. Installed
latest Joyride (1852+). Now eth0 comes up as an IPv6 interface, and I
have no connection to my local LAN.
If I do 'sugar-control-panel -s radio off' and restart Sugar, that *does*
switch eth1 to an IPv4 interface connected to my local LAN. But to try to
access a jabber-server on the internet, I need to have my local LAN
connected right at XO boot time.
