Comment(by dupuy):

 The alt gr key does not perform the script (e.g. Latin / Arabic) lock
 function, which uses a separate key (present only on keyboards with
 multiple scripts - located below the enter key, where ×/÷ key is located
 on English keyboard).

 Using the game keys seems like the best solution, though, so it was right
 to close this ticket.
