Comment:

 Eben, any idea what we should do with the button? There are some stupid
 issues with the widget state here.
 The icon and text is drawn with the normal state instead of active. Now if
 the button is white while the menu is popped up we have the problem that
 the text and icon become invisible. I can work around the text part in the
 engine, but the icon is impossible.
