Comment:

 There was some discussion to create the screenshot by copying the window
 content to a temporary pixmap first, and then getting the content later
 on.

 This has the advantage that just taking the screenshot (into the temporary
 pixmap) is a lot faster than getting the screenshot directly.

 There is one problem with the patch that I am going to attach. That is
 that any area underneath a palette is filled with random data. The same
 would happen if the frame is on top of the activity.

 (Note that it does not seem to be necessary to clip the area manually. I
 tested it by putting a large drawing area into a scrolled window, and that
 case is working fine.)
