Comment:

 I thought there was agreement before that the journal should stay at the
 lower spot so you do not have to scan the donut to find it. Same for other
 activities - the order in which they were started determines their
 position in the donut, which will not change everytime you switch
 activities. Finding the active activity is already accomplished by its
 lighter wedge (thought that high-light could be made more apparent if
 necessary).

 That rotating ring sounds like a gimmick of questionable value to me.
