 This bug is important because it notifies activities that use the camera
 or microphone to shutdown when they're not the current activity.

 The attached activity just prints notify::active callbacks (and has no
 gtk.Windows).  Note that callbacks aren't fired when: (1) the activity
 itself is launched, and (2) when other activities are launched.  Once
 launched, this and other activities callback notify::active as expected.

 In summary, notify::active callbacks should fire when activities are
 launched.
