 Steps to reproduce:

 1. Launch activity ''A'' on laptop ''XO1''
 2. Join activity 'A'' on laptop ''XO2''
 3. Roll over the ''XO1'' avatar in the frame of ''XO2''

 You'll note that no black hover state appears for the XO icon itself, and
 the palette appears 75px below where it should, as though it were attached
 to a non-existent third XO.
