 I've been trying for a while, but I'm completely unable to reproduce this
 problem on my B3, which is the most recent hardware I have.  Which systems
 are showing the problem?

 The note from dcbw pointing the finger at the initialization patches is a
 good clue.  It's worth noting that the OLPC tree still has the mdelay()
 patch done by dwmw2 rather than the (completely different) fix that I
 merged upstream.  I'd sure like to know if the problem persists with the
 current driver.
