 Here are the relevant bits from the Journal meeting... clearly we need to
 get the groups together and figure out a strategy... The issue with
 backups was discussed but again there was no agreement on a solution.

 We talked about the human-readable name issue and all the implications of
 changing names and titles. The user requirement is that if the student
 copies an image, an abiword doc, or pretty much anything from the journal
 to the USB stick, that they need to be able to find it again later with a
 human-readable filename (the one in the upper left of the activity when it
 was open).

  * Issues brought up include the problems with non-unique names; the fact
 that the title is totally separate from the file store naming. What
 happens if you try to change or use the activity right from the USB stick?
 And the fact that having a common name does not mean the data is readable
 by some other program (like an abiword doc saved to a USB key may not be
 readable by anything else).
  * We asked Marco to think about what it would take to implement just the
 simplest case and see if we can document the things that won't work.
