 Arjun, I also recreated this problem on two of my laptops - one is a B4
 and one is a C. On one of them after running measure the sound cannot be
 turned up loud enough to hear anything but faint sounds in Tamtam. On the
 other one, when I turn up the volume as high as possible (after running
 measure; then running tamtam); the white noise is louder than the faint
 tamtam music.

 To me this looks exactly like the bug we saw when we first added measure
 to the build. I'm very concerned this is just a nasty regression on
 something you already fixed once.
