Comment(by Eben):

 While we do have the notion of link sharing, we don't yet have the notion
 of "hard caching" to the Journal yet.  I suspect that we might make the
 latter the star icon, and the former something else, but for now we can
 stick with the current behavior.  I'll have a version of the star icon
 that will support entity coloring on Monday.
