 So in light of this bug as an analysis of the effort required:

 1) Need to think about increased network traffic due to more things being
 advertised
 2) Will the mesh view scale if shared objects are put there?  If it's not
 the mesh view, then we need to implement and integrate whatever view that
 is.
 3) What's the journal interaction here?
 4) Is this essentially just downloading an object from somebody else?  In
 that sense it's not really a "shared" object at all, just a mesh-
 accessible object store from which you can grab&copy an object
