I think we need to do something to differentiate the stop and escape
icons. This ticket is one indicator of the confusion. Another point is
to consider the alert you get when closing ac activity which reports there
is something going on that yo umight not want to cancel (downloads in
Browse, for instance). This will give you an alert with "Cancel" and
"Stop" buttons. If you put the "stop" icon on one and the "cancel" icon
on the other, both have an 'X', which is rather confusing.
As far as this particular ticket goes, I'm looking for consensus on the
shortcut we choose. I think ctrl-W and ctrl-Q both make sense.
