 AFAIK, Cairo uses CAIRO_FILTER_BEST by default as the filter to be used
 for resizing a given cairo_pattern. If CAIRO_FILTER_GOOD or
 CAIRO_FILTER_FAST is used instead, I guess performance would improve. More
