 I am using build 611, but this mostly like regressed in an earlier build.

 YOu have to do a clean install to see this problem. If you backup and
 upgrade the key or other config info (favorite?) seems to be there and I
 had no trouble connecting with a laptop that up upgraded to 611 with
 backup. But the clean install can't connect after putting in the WEP key.
