 David,

 The retry-on-command-failure patch works around a problem where, under
 high traffic,
 the URB transmission fails (this was happening during suspend/resume
 testing). It
 was just an evil hack to allow s/r firmware development, sorry for keeping
 it
 around instead of finding the actual problem.

 As for
 http://dev.laptop.org/git?p=olpc-2.6;a=commitdiff;h=c1d02f5e6853b99e42fca61a05ce34d26acf8890,
 which splits TX URB's for command and data, are you sure that is valid?

 From my understanding command submission and data transmission cannot
 happen simultaneously...
 Javier should be able to confirm that.
