 ship.2-645 has libertas firmware 20.p42, which fixes this problem in a
 different way.  I suggest moving out these trac bugs to update.1, since
 the mesh on/off functionality is something we will eventually want to
 have.  It's just not a ship.2 blocker any more (knock on wood).
