 We're quite tolerant to missing or broken configuration files:

  * If the user deletes the .olpc-configured flag file too, the .18n file
 will be recreated on the next reboot
  * After a reboot, olpc-session sets an en_US locale and us keyboard if
 the i18n file is missing or mangled
  * the sugar-control-panel re-creates the .i18n file if it's missing or
 mangled
  * (btw, it takes a `rm -rf ~/.[^.]*` to delete dot files :-)
