Comment:

 For Update2, we could try to make create() and update() calls fast enough
 so that they can be called sync. We would also need a non-blocking DS
 service for that.

 Another alternative would be to add a call GetNewObjectID that we could
 call sync and then pass to Create, that would be called async.
