 The journal accept both base64 and binary png previews. Activities using
 the python API are saving previews in binary png format.

 about this aspect. My feeling is that in the case of a video the thumbnail
 should only be generated one time (unless the video is modified).

 The problem in my POV is that Browse shouldn't be used for watching video
 or listening to music, as is difficult to provide a sane behavior for
 those plus browsing the web.
