 I like this option.  The keys involved are the power button and rotate
 button, and it's entirely sane for olpc-hardware-manager to be handling
 those.  In the rotate case, it would send a dbus message to sugar to ask
 it to rotate.  Zephaniah points out that we have to be careful not to ask
 sugar to rotate while we're on a console tty, because of bug #581.
