 Another way to do this; right now, X is handling all input events, and is
 passing them to sugar.  Sugar is capable of sending DBUS events.  When a
 specific input event is received by sugar, it can send it to olpc-
 hardware-manager via DBUS.  I'm not sure if this is acceptable or not, but
 it makes sense to me (having X handle all input events).

 Of course, the other thing is to not have sugar/X see these events at all.
 olpc-hardware-manager can grab the input device, as it seems like the
 events coming from pm_inputdev are system events anyways.  Power button
 press, lid closing, SCI events; these are things that X doesn't need to
 care about (and if it *does* care, it can learn about them from olpc-
 hardware-manager over DBUS).  This would allow the power button to also
 work from the console, too..
