 My proposed patch doesn't actually search PATH, but, as Albert points out,
 there shouldn't be a reason why not.

 My patch looks in sugar's bin directory and the bundle - this would allow
 to use reuse the python actvity factory, for example, but it's not
 striclty necessary. What I'd find more importatnt is to allow arguments to
 be passed, IIRC that's not yet possible. Like, the python activity factory
 gets an argument specifying the bundle path but that is not possible to
 mimic with exec right now.
