 Steps to reproduce:
 * connect USB ethernet (asix) device
 * Power on XO running build366
 * Wait for sugar to finish loading, switch to tty1, ifconfig.

 Expected result:
 * the ethernet device is used for connectivity

 Actual result:
 * the mesh is used for connectivity, with no apparent way in the UI to
 switch to using wired ethernet instead.
