Or we can do a /boot partition on the flash; given a small file system,
mount time for it will be very small. IIRC, David says there is also a
flash layer that would even allow said partition to be involved in wear
leveling (though OFW might have to be able to understand that).
In any case, this isn't high priority for anytime soon. Not until long
after suspend/resume is going.
