 One more thing that needs to be clarified is the packet type that will be
 used for detection of the ring alert. By default, as per feedback from
 Michail, any unicast data packet targeted for the XO in question should
 make the firmware wake up the host. We are designing the autonomous mode
 in that manner. Given this, what is the possible scenario of this
 happening, i.e. a VOIP phone alert packet being received on the wireless
 mesh interface. What I mean is that this VOIP phone alert packet would
 also most likely be a unicast data packet destined for the XO. In that
 case, I feel that with the wake up conditions specified (trac ticket
 http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/679) to wake the host CPU up would cover this
 case as well.

 Please enlighten if my understanding is incorrect.
